FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

December 1, 2004

HUNTINGTON, INDIANA-After many months of hard work, Andy Hoffman has a new Nitemare monster truck ready for the 2005 race season! The new chassis was designed and completely fabricated by Hoffman himself. After ten years of monster truck experience, he had a good idea of what he wanted in a new setup. Andy cut, bent and welded all of the tubing and even fabricated his own wheels! Two test sessions at Hoffman Proving Grounds went very well without any real problems revealed. Next tasks include mounting the body, then dismantling the truck for painting and powder coating.

New truck features include:
Main frame constructed from 3″ round DOM tubing
26″ nitrogen King shocks
All aluminum Rodeck power plant
Profab transfer case
Turbo 400
SCS sway bars and axle shafts
Chevy body with paint scheme to be determined

Hoffman doesn’t plan on using the new truck until the spring outdoor shows start.

“Currently, the plan is to have two trucks with the same name. One will be for smaller indoor arenas and one for full throttle outdoor racing. The other truck setup works so well indoors, I want to wait until I get a better feel for how the new race truck handles before using it indoors,” states Hoffman. Andy is looking forward to heads up racing in 2005!
