RAMINATOR R/T JOINS MOPARS AT THE STRIP
Hall Bros. Press Release - 1/12/05
For the first time ever, the Raminator ride
truck took part in the festivities at Las Vegas Motor Speedway during the
"Mopars at the Strip" event. The third annual event was held
April 1-3 at "The Strip" at LVMS, which plays host to NHRA drag
racing, among other events. The three day event included acres of
amazing Mopar show vehicles, several classes of all-Mopar drag racing,
vendors galore, and of course, the Dodge Raminator ride truck. The weekend
also featured a private concert by rock/blues musician Kenny Wayne Shepperd,
held at the Cannery Hotel & Casino for attendees of the event.
Shepperd's "Extreme Lee" Dodge Charger, built on the show
"Rides", was one of the event's feature show cars.
The Raminator R/T gave rides to approximately
1300 people throughout the weekend, though the highlight of the weekend was
Sunday at noon, when the truck was driven out onto the track in
front of the grandstands for the National Anthem. Proudly
flying a large American flag off of its rear rollcage, the truck was the
perfect way to kick off Sunday's racing. And if that wasn't enough,
legendary Mopars "Pandemonium" and "Hemi Under Glass"
made historic passes down the 1/4 mile as Raminator departed the track.
Driver Kyle Doyle, crew member Travis Howard, and all of Hall Bros. Racing
would like to thank Dodge, Mopar, the Painter family, the staff of LVMS, The
Orleans, and all of the dedicated Mopar fans that attended the event
for helping make it such an awesome weekend.
