At this time both trucks are in the shop getting
ready for a fully booked Jan/Feb and some of March.

King
Krunch and driver David Smith racing during Monster Jam World Finals 5 in Las
Vegas.
We have taken out the motor and motor supports in
el Matador to get the motor lined back up again. During one of the shows where
Daron (Basl, El Matador's driver) crashed, the momentum tweaked the motor
location as well as trashed the original body. We made a temporary fix when it
happened and are now making a permanent fix. We also beefed up some of the
cradle and 4-link brackets. Daron is really driving well and the next motor he
gets will be a little rattier.
King Krunch is getting some fiberglass and paint
work done as well as swapping out the differentials. David seems primed and
ready to go into the next season. Both trucks seem to be working real well.
We modified the red, white and blue hauler to take
both trucks and have almost all of next year booked as a two truck team. David
and Daron have both been doing a fantastic job. Daron has been a really good
addition to our team and David continues to keep us going in the right
direction.

I attended the MTRA meeting in St. Louis this past
weekend and was obviously the luckiest guy there as I won the Mac Tools tool
box, a Leak Down Tester from Summit and a Bath and Body Works assortment (for
my wife). I enjoyed meeting a bunch of people and continue to feel that our
membership makes a difference to us and to the Monster Truck community as a
whole. In my opinion, there are several very committed members and associate
members that will in the next few years be able to effect some positive
changes. Bob Chandler continues to impress me with his commitment and class
and anyone that disagrees with him on some of these issues needs to think a
little and try to understand why he has some of the feelings he has.
Robin Brow is doing a Yeoman's job and hopefully
will be able to get support from manufacturers and MTRA members to help
provide some additional benefits to being an MTRA member.
We are anxious for the next season to start and we
are especially looking forward to the new racing series that are apparently
going to be kicking off this next year.
