December 22, 2004-Checkered Flag Productions series champion Mike Harper of Carolina Crusher announced today that the team has gained sponsorship with Mafia Motorsports, based in Middleton, Wisconsin. The deal includes new drivers' suits, crew apparel, and more for the team, and Harper is very excited to have them on board.

"It's a really cool deal for us," said Harper. "We will have some new things to work with, and their logo will be on our truck prominently. People will be able to buy Mafia Motorsports merchandise through the Carolina Crusher website (http://carolinacrusher.com/) and also at Checkered Flag Productions (CFP) events this season."

Harper also said that there may be some contests in store for the fans involving Mafia and Carolina Crusher. The team has ten Checkered Flag Productions events and four Clear Channel Entertainment events lined up for the winter season, putting to rest any rumors that Harper was leaving the sport completely.

"I plan on staying in the sport for sure," Harper said on Wednesday. "I have been with an ARCA team for three years, and I will continue to be with them in the summer and race Carolina Crusher in the winter. I am just scaling down the number of things I will do with the truck for the summer."

He also mentioned that more things are in the works with Mafia Motorsports, and to keep checking their site (www.mafiamoto.com) and the Carolina Crusher site for more information in the coming weeks.

AllMonster.com thanks Mike Harper and the entire Carolina Crusher team for their time and support.
